Thank you for your interest in Custom Made’s 2015/16 season. Below are the character breakdowns of our plays. Unless stated otherwise, all roles are open to performers of all ethnicities.
In Love and Warcraft
Evie (22, F) — A college student. Smart, genuine, personable.
Kitty (22, F) — A college student. Sensual and confident.
Raul (22, M) — A college student. Disarmingly attractive and outgoing. Latino/African-American actor preferred.
Ryan (25, M) — A gamer. Not particularly attractive or well-kept. Good comedic timing.
Male – (20s – 30s) — Plays a handful of roles. Versatile character actor.
Female – (20s – 30s) — Plays a handful of roles. Versatile character actor.
Of Serpents and Sea Spray
Iro St. Cloud -female, 8-12 years old to be played by an adult. A brave and adventurous young girl, determined to overcome her troubled past.
Annika, Athena, et al. -female, in her 20s Plays Iro’s imaginary best friend and partner in crime, the goddess Athena from Greek mythology, and Iro’s tutor.
Mother, et al. -female, in her 30s-50s. Plays Iro’s mother, Iro’s foster mother, and a French circus performer.
Girl, et al. -female, in her 20s. Plays Iro’s foster sister, a French circus performer, and a pirate of Iro’s imagination.
Father, Uncle, et al. – male, in his 30s-50s . Plays Iro’s father, Iro’s estranged uncle, Iro’s foster father, and a French circus performer.
Boy, et al. male, in his 20s Plays Iro’s foster brother and a French circus performer.
Sam and Dede, or My Dinner with Andre the Giant
Samuel Beckett – (M, 40’s – whatever) Famous playwright. Quiet. Enjoys silence and cricket. Any ethnicity.
Andre the Giant – (M, any adult age) Boisterous, large man. No one cast will be the size of Andre the Giant, nor does the play require it. But the right performer will be larger than life. Any ethnicity.
